Before joining the SFPC family, Paula worked for 20 years in corporate customer service. However, having always wanted to work with animals and working in a smaller business setting, she found a great home with Santa Fe Pet Clinic and living out her dream working with people who love animals just as much as her. She became interested in working with animals because of her love for them and finding out that people who have pets are a lot alike. She enjoys helping people who love animals and being able to show how any kind of pet can enhance someone's life. Paula says "My favorite part of the job is meeting the client face to face and seeing what kind of pet or breed they have chosen". In her spare time she enjoys watching Anime or walking anywhere with her husband, Ted (Client Services) and their Chihuahua "Dixie".
Angela has been grooming dogs of all sizes since 2010, has over 10 years of pet care experience and joined Santa Fe Pet Clinic in 2012. Angela found her love of working with animals when she was a little girl; growing up with several animals, her and her family were very animal oriented and pet friendly. Angela says the best part of her job is “Getting to know the pets and their owners and seeing every pet’s personal personality." In addition to grooming dogs, Angela likes to collect hot air balloon figurines; she says however, that she would never get into one in real life! Angela shares her home with "Marvel" and "Bubbles" - two fun-loving dogs.
Beginning in 2001 as a kennel tech, and now working part-time as one of our receptionists and vet techs, Cassie has worked anywhere from just Saturdays to full-time through college, other jobs, and now as mother. Cassie is big lover of animals and people! She got her degree in Elementary Education, but has continued to enjoy working here through all of life’s changes over the past 12 years. “I love the fun pets, friendly clients, great co-workers, and learning new things on a regular basis.” In addition to her love of animals, Cassie also loves to hike and backpack. She, along with her family, goes to the Colorado Rockies every year and has crossed the Grand Canyon 3 times! She is married to her amazing husband Ben and they have three children, as well as two great dogs, their steady and faithful German Shepherd, and their very own Marley-type yellow Lab.
Ted joined our clinic in 2014. Ted and Paula (Office Manager) have been married for many years, and now are happy to be working here together making sure all the needs of our clients are met. Ted enjoys texting clients appointment reminders and check-up results to give them a more personal feel. In their spare time they love watching Anime together and walking everywhere with their Chihuahua "Dixie". We hope they are part of the Santa Fe Pet Clinic Family for a long time.
Kimber joined our staff in January 2017. She has recently graduate from high school and is starting her education to become a Registered Vet Tech this fall. She has two cocker spaniels named "Oso" and "Silus" and a husky named "Maya". We hope she will be with us for quite a while! Kimber is also be our Front Desk Client Services Representative on Fridays and Saturdays.
Cassidi joined Santa Fe Pet Clinic in August 2015. Her love of animals directed her to attend college and become a Vet Tech. While she is pursuing that career, she is working as a Kennel Technician here at the clinic. She has a black retriever named "Max" who comes in regularly for his checkups. She says "I love animals and hope to be a part of Santa Fe Pet Clinic Family for a long time!"
Natalie joined our staff in July 2016. She is going to Kansas State this fall to become a Veterinarian. But she will be working here all summer before she goes. She has always loved animals, so making her career in veterinarian medicine is no surprise. We hope to see her over her summer breaks in the future. Good luck Natalie!
Savannah started working as a kennel tech in June 2015, and quickly became a part of the Santa Fe Pet Clinic Family. She loves animals so much she is currently going to Kansas State University to become a Zoo Keeper. She comes back once in a while to work during her breaks. She has a new Australian Shepard puppy named "Scout", and he is very cute!
